Data-Driven Optimism:

The James Webb Telescope, launched on Christmas day a year ago, has been named by the journal Science as the greatest breakthrough of 2022. Between its many discoveries this year, it captured detailed images of the Pillars of Creation, discovered thousands of ancient galaxies, and saw objects 13.4 billion light years away. [Tweet]
